Hiya book lovers With Christmas being just around the corner, I thought I’d highlight some South African reads that should go on your TBR pile. We have so many phenomenal SA authors that deserve to be celebrated , and because this list will be an extensive one, I am splitting this post and making it a series. I know it won’t be possible to include every single South African author, but I am going to try to highlight books from every genre and make it as diverse as possible (so, with respect, please don’t ask me why so and so isn’t on the list – there’s more to come). In today’s book spotlight - with thanks to Rock star book tours - it’s an absolute delight to feature Rae Carson’s Walk on Earth a Stranger! Happy book birthday Rae! I don’t know about you, but when I first came across this book, I immediately fell in love with the title. Never mind that I had no clue what it was about, as someone who’s always been a sucker for flowy, pretty and intriguing titles, this one hit the “you need to find out what I’m all about and read me” button instantaneously. While I haven’t had the chance to read the book as of yet (purchasing my copy this Friday because: PAY DAY!), I’ve heard nothing but positive things about it thus far.
